It just so happened that the Cambodia Clean Water and Toilet Project founder, Darrel Steer, arrived in Australia on Friday 27th October. I organised to meet him on the Saturday night to learn more about the Cambodian educational environment. To say that I met an inspirational, educated, liberal and selfless gentleman is an understatement! He is all that and more.
I was fascinated as I listened to his experiences and the stories he shared. His vision to assist the Cambodian's to develop a better future is infectious, and with the focus on clean water and sanitation, his efforts are beginning to make a positive impact on the lives of many Cambodian families.
I have also attached a video with Darrel's thoughts on my FLS resources. I have a funny feeling that this is not the end of this learning experience, it is only the beginning!
